If you want to find out about this website or its author, then you’ve come to the right place!

The code that generates this site was hand crafted in Haskell, and makes use of the Hakyll framework, making it really snappy, and very easy to maintain. The layout is based on a simplified version of the Holy Grail of CSS design, and traffic is tracked using a modified asynchrounous Google Analytics snippet.

This site is written and maintained by Nicolas Wu, or 胡家恩. That’s me. I recently completed my DPhil at the University of Oxford, working on my thesis in the Department of Computer Science, which also holds my departmental homepage. My main research interests are in the foundational aspects of functional programming, and I’m always keen to sample a healthy dose of category theory while investigating the algebra of programming.

I’m married to the very lovely Laura Wu, she’s just wonderful in every way!
